Lafayette Anticipations

For the second time, Studio Marant collaborated with Lafayette Anticipations on Life of Forms, an exhibition bringing works from the AlUla Design Residency into dialogue with the institution’s collection. Emily Marant has served as associate curator alongside Clément Delépine and Arnaud Morand, contributing to the exhibition’s curatorial direction and development.

Bringing together contemporary art and design, Life of Forms explored the ways in which forms are shaped by materials, gestures, landscapes and heritage. Works developed through the AlUla Design Residency were placed alongside works from the Lafayette Anticipations Collection, creating new correspondences between objects, practices and territories.

The exhibition unfolded through a programme of conversations, workshops and live events, extending the dialogue beyond the exhibition space.
