FRENCH WINDOW, 2019
— 1 802,00 €
This multiple object, a full length glass paneled portable revolving door, is an invitation to reflect on the thoughts and images we take away from the places we visit and inhabit. its formal presence reminds us simultaneously of American warehouse window frames, and European XIX th century steel and glass conservatories.
Its structure and intricate play of colors are reminiscent of lush winter gardens that house subtropical plants. This model-size partition between indoor and outdoor comes in an edition of 3 unique copies. The frame is laser cut in fiberglass and the glass panels are made of leftover glass pieces assembled by hand by the artist, making each french window a unique collectible artwork.
